Where can I sell gold figures

I have a large collection of gold figures at home. My grandfather was a traveller and he often brought fancy souvenirs from all over the world. This collection comes from India. He visited this country three or four times and every time he brought home a couple of figures. The collection is really beautiful. There are some little animals: cows, birds, snakes and dogs. There are also all sorts of mystical creatures I don"t even know how to describe. Although the figures are really tiny, the precision makes me think of some experienced, well-qualified artist. Unfortunately, I will have to sell gold collection. I will soon have to find a place to live and renting a flat can be really expensive here. It would be much better to buy a bedsitter, although of course I will have to spend a large amount of money at once. I am now looking for all possible sources so that I won"t have to take a mortgage. When I look at these tiny gold figures, I am really sorry that I won"t see them again. The real problem is, I don"t know how to sell gold. Companies that specialize in buying and selling bullion are not really interested in buying pieces of art. And it would be quite risky to auction such a collection on a popular website. Do you have any ideas?
